Israel allows Egyptian army to deploy a military unit and to send four warcrafts in order to have an operation on escalating incidents in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, said sources.

According to Israeli television Channel 10, Israeli army took this course of action due to safety concerns against the armed attacks on Egyptian and Israeli targets in Sinai Peninsula.

On the other hand, Egyptian officials have not issued a statement so far.

Egypt can provide a limited number of soldiers in Sinai Peninsula which is semi-cleared of heavy weapons according to Camp David Agreement signed between Egypt and Israel.

As the violence increase, targeting police and soldiers in Sinai with the military coup on June 3, the Egyptian army have launched operations against armed groups in rural Sinai for over a month.

Meanwhile, 24 police died during the attack targeting a police bus on the international highway in the region.
