Prime Minister of nuclear-armed Israel Benjamin Netanyahu will "set a clear red line" for Iran's nuclear programme when he addresses the United Nations on Thursday, a senior Israeli official said.

"The prime minister will clarify the way in which Iran won't have nuclear arms," the official said, adding that the plan would help Israel cooperate on the matter with the United States, with which it has had public differences.
