A number of people were killed or injured on Monday in militant attacks on areas associated with the Shiite Houthi group in Yemen's central Al-Bayda province, according to tribal sources.
A series of attacks by armed tribesmen, targeted various Houthi locations in Al-Bayda, leaving several dead injured on both sides.
The exact death toll, however, remains unclear.
Earlier this month, the Houthis – who have remained in control of capital Sanaa since last September – issued a "constitutional declaration" dissolving parliament and establishing a 551-member transitional council.
The declaration was rejected by most of Yemen's political forces – along with some neighboring countries – which described it as a "coup against constitutional legitimacy."Güncelleme Tarihi: 02 Mart 2015, 17:52
