Egyptian protestors begin to gather in Mustafa Mahmoud Square in Cairo.
TRT reporter said that the square would be new gathering area in Cairo. The demonstrators are constructing new platforms in the area, said the sources.
Eyewitnesses on Wednesday morning reported running street battles between supporters of ousted President Mohamed Morsi and security forces in Mustafa Mahmoud Square in Cairo's upscale Mohandiseen district.
Dozens of pro-Morsi demonstrators arrived in the square after police moved in to disperse two major sit-ins -- in Cairo's Rabaa al-Adawiya Square and Giza's Nahda Square -- in the early hours of Wednesday.
Earlier, unidentified assailants had attacked protesters in Mustafa Mahmoud Square with Molotov cocktails, bottles and bricks, leaving ten injured.
Pro-Morsi demonstrators have begun erecting barricades around the square to prevent security forces from dispersing their demonstration.
