Syrian Turkmens living along the Turkish border are continuing to flee to Turkey to escape clashes between rival rebel groups.
This morning dozens of Turkmen sought refuge with Turkey after the Free Syrian Army attacked Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) forces in the Ziyadiye village.
The Tawhid, Fetih and Muhammad Fatih brigades were also active in helping the Free Syrian Army, according to Al Jazeera Turk.
Clashes between local Turkmen brigades and ISIL began in the Cobanbey village last week and have spread across the region in recent days.
The clashes have forces dozens of Syrians from the predominently Turkmen villages of Ziyadiye, Duden, Real and Aktarin to flee their homes.Last Mod: 10 Şubat 2014, 14:25
