After the military coup, Egyptian protestors remain in sit-ins in Rabaa al-Adawiya in eastern Cairo and Giza's al-Nahda Square.
The two main demonstration areas see various activities. One of the interesting activities is "anti-coup" seals. Demonstrators begin to impress a seal on banknotes on the eve of Eid al-Fitr. During Eid, adults give money to children who kiss their hands.
During the Ramadan Feast, people treat their guests to sweets and traditional desserts. It is a tradition to visit one's relatives, especially older ones, and kiss their hand as a sign of respect.
