At least three individuals were killed on Wednesday in a car explosion in a desert area southwest of Arish, the capital city of the North Sinai Governorate.
Three bodies were found in the site in addition to the remains of what is believed to be a fourth participant, according to an Anadolu Agency correspondent.
Parts of explosive belts and devices for remote detonations were found in the site, suggesting the deceased were on their way to carry out an attack.
While the cause of the explosion was not immediately clear, it was likely accidental.
At least 34 people, both civilians and security personnel, have been killed in attacks in Sinai since July 5, two days after the army ousted elected President Mohamed Morsi, according to a tally prepared by AA based on security sources.Güncelleme Tarihi: 25 Temmuz 2013, 11:49
