The Syrian opposition has urged the United Nations to immediately open aid corridors in the wartorn country to allow humanitarian help to get to those in need.
In a statement Monday, the Syrian National Coalition (SNC) urged the U.N. Security Council to grant full access to aid organizations immediately.
It asked the council to declare the bombing of Syrian cities by troops affiliated to Syrian President Bashar Assad as war crimes, and said that the regime is trying to change the demographics of the country with its shelling of Homs.
