High level security measures were taken around Egypt's ousted president Mohamed Morsi's house, where he is under arrest, in Cairo on Thursday.

The Muslim Brotherhood Executive Council's Supreme Guide Mohammed Badi is also under house arrest in norheastern province of Matruh, sources said.

Leader of Freedom and Justice Party Mohammed Saad al Katatani and Muslim Brotherhood Deputy Director Rashed Bayumi were also reported to put under arrest in an unknown location at Oktober region in east of Cairo by the army, sources said earlier the night.
