Turkish Airlines (THY) cancelled Tunisia flights on Friday following Tunisia Airlines' decision to comply with the call for a general strike in the country.
Turkish Airlines TK-661 Istanbul-Tunis flight, set to take off at 09.45 a.m., was cancelled both ways due to the general strike in Tunisia, THY said Friday.
Passengers were notified by e-mail and SMS of the situation and that they were scheduled for the next flight.
Tunisian opposition leader Brahmi was shot dead on Thursday outside his home in capital Tunis, which was recorded as the second death of a politician in the country this year.
