Four Israeli soldiers were injured in clashes with Palestinian gunmen in the Gaza Strip, the army said on Saturday.

"Two IDF [Israel Defense Forces] soldiers were lightly injured & one was severely injured overnight in a confrontation with terrorists in northern Gaza," the army wrote on Twitter.

Another soldier sustained moderate injuries in clashes with Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, Israel Radio reported.
