Israeli MK Tzipi Hotovely on Sunday morning stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, accompanied by a number of Jewish settlers, reported Palestinian Information Center.

Hebrew media sources said that the MK and Deputy Minister of transportation Hotovely stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, accompanied by members of her family, for the purposes of coordination for her wedding ceremony which will be held tomorrow in Al-Aqsa courtyards.

The Israeli channel 7 quoted Hotovely as saying ""Ascending to the Temple Mount is important to me on a personal level because of my wedding to be held tomorrow... This is the most sacred place for the Jewish people, and all Jews should be free to access it", as she said.

The MK noted that her visit was coordinated in advance with the police commander, and described the prevention of the Israeli public figures from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque as "improper".
