Turkish International Cooperation Agency (TIKA) will construct the first ever hospital in Tubas city of West Bank.
The tender for the construction of the 30-bed hospital in Tubas has been completed and a ground-breaking ceremony will take place soon.
The new hospital in Tubas is expected to serve around 170,000 people.
The construction of the hospital will cost 4.2 million USD and will end in 1.5 years.
TIKA will also finance the equipment to be utilized within the hospital.
Palestinian Ministry of Health will manage the hospital after construction.
Doctors to work at the Tubas hospital will be sent to Turkey for internship purposes. The expenses to be incurred by the doctors will all be paid by the TIKA.
