A group of Palestinians in the West Bank detained a number of Jewish settlers who had been attacking Palestinians in the region. After holding them for two hours on Tuesday, the group informed Palestinian police and the Israeli military.
The incident took place after a group of 25 to 30 Jewish settlers laid siege to Palestinians olive farmers with sticks and stones in the village of Qusra, south-east of Nablus. As many as 100 Palestinians from the village then reportedly chased the settlers away, who then sought refuge in a building on the outskirts of the village.
The Huffington Post quoted one Palestinian, who said "When they were caught, they were beaten, but after we brought them to the building, we did not let anyone beat them."
Those who held the settlers, who were all aged in their late teens and early twenties, cordoned them off and treated their injuries while they waited for the authorities.Güncelleme Tarihi: 08 Ocak 2014, 17:31
