CHP: Erdogan has lost

The CHP Party spokesman has said that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has lost in this election.

The spokesman for the Republican People's Party (CHP),Haluk Koc, has made statements regarding the election results, "Turkey has won, Mr Erdogan has lost. The ruling AK Party has been brought down by the people. Their rule has come to an end"

"The parliament has won democracy. The CHP has become the most important political actor. Mr Kemal Kilicdaroglu, and the CHP are the most important actors who can form a government. All our institutions are ready to deliver their tasks".

According to the ballot box, the CHP leader had said that he will resign if his party does not receive 26% of the votes. His party ratio was 25.1%.

Kemal Kilicdaroglu had said prior to the elections that if his party vote was under 26% that he would resign. Making a brief statement at their party headquarters, Kemal Kilicdaroglu said he was pleased with the results, "We have ended a repressive era of democratic process. Democracy has won, Turkey has won. Long live democracy!".

CHP leader Kilicdaroglu, during the election that their target was 35%. According to unofficial results, the polls currently show 25.1%
