Turkey's Acting Prime Minister Bulent Arinc will meet with "Taksim Platform", a civil initiative that is opposed to the government’s plans to redesign the the Taksim Square.
The meeting between Arinc and the delegation will take place at the Prime Ministry in capital Ankara on Wednesday.
The Gezi Park protests which started in reaction to a construction project in Taksim's Gezi Park in Istanbul turned into nation-wide demonstrations against the government. One person was killed, dozens more were wounded during the clashes with police, while hundreds were arrested.
Arinc is serving as the acting prime minister as Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is on a trip to North Africa.
