World Bulletin / News Desk

President Erdogan has answered journalists questions on his way back from meeting with the King in Saudia Arabia.

Whilst weighing up the discussions he has had with the new King, Erdogan has said that, "In regard to the Egypt issue, this will not overshadow our relations with Saudia Arabia. If Saudi takes a step forward, the fate of Egypt will change" and continued saying that:

"If Egypt can soften their control, there will be a social uprising due to recent evets. Egypt, with a population of 90 million people is one of our most important brothers in the region. We cannot assume they do not exist. Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Turkiye, this three foot strong hold are the most important countries of this region with Saudi Arabia being the most active. I shared these thoughts with them as well. If Saudi Arabia takes a step, then the outlook of Egypt can reverse"

Erdogan responded to the journalists question by saying that he expressed his thoughts to the Saudi King and also with the Egyptian President Sisi.
