The Kurdish National Council Conference planned in Irbil will be held on 15-17 September.
In a statement made by the Organizing Committee of Kurdish National Council Conference after a meeting at Irbil's Saad Abdullah Conference Hall, it was stated that the date of conference had been changed.
Reporting that the change in date was due to the continuing technical works, the Committee stated that the conference would be held on 15-17 September in Irbil.
600 delegations and 300 observers would be invited to the Conference, the statement said.
It was also stated that “35 percent of the participants will be representative of civil society institutions, 45 percent from political parties and the remaining 20 percent will be among youth and independent people."
Announcing that women would be represented at a rate of 40% in the Conference, the statement stressed that many people from different countries were going to be invited to the Conference.
It was announced that the Kurdish National Council Conference planned to be held in August beforehand had been postponed since the preparations were not completed and those who were to be invited were not determined.
