One more party accepts Turkish govt talks on PKK issue

Small leftist party, Democratic Left Party leader, Masum Turker, accepted Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan's request for an appointment to discuss the recent surge in PKK attacks.

In his response to Erdogan's letter, Turker said they could meet with the Premier in DSP HQs on July 13, at 2:00 p.m.

On Saturday, Premier Erdogan sent letters to main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP), Great Unity Party (BBP) and Felicity Party (SP) to arrange meetings with the leaders of these parties to seek support for concerted action against escalating PKK.

Erdogan is set to meet with the leaders of Felicity Party (SP) and Grand Unity Party (BBP) on Wednesday, July 14.

The main secularist opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) is expected to reply to Erdogan's request for an appointment on Monday, July 12.
