Turkish Code of Commerce was adopted Thursday night at the Turkish Parliament.

The new Code of Commerce which comprises of 1535 articles brings comprehensive changes in a wide range of areas.

The newly adopted code introduces new regulations concerning passenger and cargo transportation, maritime law, insurance law, establishment of foundations, marketing and accounting standards, dealerships, establishment of companies, mergers, and auditing.
