Turkey and Saudi Arabia signed an agreement to establish stronger cooperation in defense industry. The agreement was signed in Çankaya Presidential Palace in Ankara by the Foreign Ministers of the two countries Ahmet Davutoğlu and Saud Al-Faysal.
The Saudi Arabian Prince Crown and First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Prince Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, is paying a working visit to Turkey at the invitation of President Abdullah Gül. Turkish President Gül welcomed Prince Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and accompanying delegation in Çankaya Palace. Following the welcoming ceremony delegations from both countries sat around the table for bilateral talks.
Meeting finalized with signing ceremony of the agreement for cooperation in defense industry. Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdağ, Defense Minister İsmet Yılmaz were among attendees as well.
