Turkey's Erdogan says Turks, Arabs 'like fingers of a hand'

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Sunday Turks and Arabs were like fingers of a hand adding that the future of the two peoples was one like their past.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of "TRT al Turkiye", the new channel of the state run TV station TRT, Erdogan regarded opening of the new channel as a historic day for Turkish-Arabic friendship.

Erdogan said, during their 7.5-year rule they spared no efforts to promote relations with neighbouring countries in the region.

He said "TRT al Turkiye" was the common channel of the two peoples.

"It is a line of communication between our hearts, it is a new channel which unites our hearts," said Erdogan expressing his hope that the new channel would enhance the brotherhood, unity and solidarity between the Turkish and Arab peoples.

Arab despotic dictators always create divisions among people and limit their freedom for their survival but Mr Erdogan spending his time to develop friendship among fellow Muslim brethren. Mr Erdogan is a great Muslim leader in recent time. Shame on Arab puppet leaders.
