Pro-Kurdish Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) will open a representation in U.S. capital Washington, D.C..

Turkey's Kurdish party to open office in US capital

Pro-Kurdish Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) will open a representation in U.S. capital Washington, D.C..

Formal opening of the representation will be made with a reception at Holiday Inn Hotel on Wednesday.

BDP Chairman Selahattin Demirtas, BDP deputy Emine Ayna and banned Democratic Society Party's (DTP) former chairman Ahmet Turk will attend the reception.

Turkish delegation will also hold several meetings in New York and San Francisco.

Members of banned DTP decided to go on politics with BDP in December, 2009.
