Turkey's prime minister has said that his government was determined to make a new constitution, stating that they were planing to issue a new constitution in a commission which would have three members from each political party in the parliament.
"Making a new constitution is the matter. Let's make the constitution until the end of the year with the help of all parties that should provide three members for the commission. And what if we meet hindrance- I say that we are going to make the constitution with the parties which are willing to overcome this issue," Recep Tayyip Erdogan told Sunday a congress of his Justice and Development (AK) Party in Ankara, the Turkish capital, adding that AK Party would not be the side to leave the negotiation table.
"We will proceed on our way resolutely because there is a need of new constitution that reflects national will at the highest level," stated Erdogan.Güncelleme Tarihi: 30 Eylül 2012, 16:45
