Turkey's prime minister said on Sunday that scheduled flights between the capital Ankara and the southeastern province of Siirt would be launched till the end of December.
Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan said the government was making preparations to begin scheduled flights to Siirt.
"We hope Siirt-Ankara flights can begin within this month," Erdogan said during inauguration ceremonies in Siirt.
