Turkish Cabinet convened under the chairmanship of Prime Mnister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara on Monday.
One of top topics in Cabinet's agenda is supposed to be military coup and violence in Egypt as Turkey's ambassador to Egypt, Huseyin Avni Botsalı, is scheduled to brief Turkey's Cabinet today on developments in the world's largest Arab nation.
Ankara recalled Botsalı last week for “consultations” in protest of the Egyptian army's crackdown on Muslim Brotherhood supporters demanding the reinstatement of ousted President Mohammed Morsi.
Botsalı is expected to attend the National Security Council (MGK) meeting on Wednesday.
However, Turkish President Abdullah Gul, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is excepted to come together on Egypt crisis on Tuesday.
