Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said on Monday that they had not found new natural gas and oil resources for the last ten years, but they had discovered the power of their own human resource.
Speaking at the privatization ceremony of Kangal thermal power plant, Davutoglu said nobody had offered them a big amount of capital accumulation, but they had discovered the power of their own human resource, adding, "We could start to make a great move with our own human resource."
Davutoglu stressed that the removal of energy deficit was an issue, on which has been continuously worked, and pointed out two main ways for Turkey to eliminate the energy deficit.
"Thereafter our plans, either we will turn towards to new energy sources including nuclear energy, or we will continue to enhance the existing energy resources. We will also increase productivity of existing thermal and hydroelectric resources, and we will also provide the transit of foreign energy resources over our country." said Davutoglu.
Davutoglu stated that Turkey's human resources run ahead of Turkey's energy resources, adding, "What to do is that human resources should be put under order of energy and economy with privatization."
