Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu resigns

Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has accepted the resignation of Prime Minister Ahmed Davutoglu after election.


Prime Minister Davutoglu, at the AK Party headquarters met with several senior party leaders separately and  has now arrived at the Presidential Palace.

The acceptance begatn at the Presidential Palace began in 17:40 hours.

Erdogan and Davutoglu talks to the press was closed.
