Witness statements by two retired lieutanant generals aged, 90 and 91 have been obtained by the Ankara Chief Prosecutors Office. The Crimes Investigation Bureau have taken witness statements by Nevzat Bolugiray, aged 90 and Dogan Kromors, aged 91 alongside their solicitors, to Musa Yucel, the government prosecutor.

Following the statement, the two retired Generals denied the charges. As part of the investigation, 20 retired officers witness statements have been required, however now only six are alive.
