Dutch Defense Ministry hosted iftar -- dinner to break the fast in Ramadan -- for Muslim troops which serve in its armed forces.
The iftar which is being held traditionally since 2006 by different units was hosted by the Royal Naval Forces Command this year.
The fast breaking meal was held at the Maritime Museum in Den Helder where Muslim troops with various ranks including Turkish origin ones attended the event.
Among other guests, representatives of the Dutch Armed Forces, officials of the Defense Ministry and representatives of the some Muslim NGOs attended the dinner.
