French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius hosted a fast-breaking dinner on Wednesday for the ambassadors of Muslim countries to France.

Also attending were representatives of the non-profit French Council of the Muslim Faith (CFCM), which dialogues with the French state in Muslim religious activities, as well as members of various Muslim organizations and officials from the French Foreign Ministry.

CFCM Deputy President Ahmet Ogras said they attended the event at the invitation of Minister Fabius, and they were also representing the Turkish community in France.

"The new French government has renewed the old tradition. It had been canceled when Sarkozy was president," Ogras said.
