Turkish and Lebanese youngsters had an iftar (fast-breaking meal) together in Lebanon capital Beirut on Sunday.
Director of Yunus Emre Turkish Culture Center in Beirut, Cengiz Eroglu, and teaching staff attended the iftar which was held in a restaurant in Ravza region.
Eroglu noted that those kinds of events provided intimacy between Lebanese and Turkish peoples and empowered attachments between the two societies.
A Turkish youngster, Bilal Fettah, said their purpose was to introduce Turkish culture to Lebanese youth with the event.
A Lebanese, Velid Kumeyra, stated, "I am very glad to be in this meal. These meetings strengthen our fraternity and we come much closer."
