Turkey's Constitutional Court has ruled in favor of those protesting the ban of the social media website Twitter in the country.
The court said that in blocking the website, the state had infringed on citizens' rights. The High Court has sent the decision to Turkey's Telecommunications Authority, ordering them to do what was required.
Turkey temporarily blocked Twitter just days prior to the local elections which took place this weekend after Twitter failed to comply with government demands that it removes fake accounts of individuals who had had their identities hijacked.Last Mod: 02 Nisan 2014, 17:44
