Erdogan extends Eid greetings

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke with his counterparts in Muslim countries to extend Eid greetings late Thursday.

President Erdogan had separate telephone conversations with the Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Kuwait's Emir Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev and the President of Bangladesh, Abdul Hamid.

Conveying best wishes from the government and the people of Turkey to the government and the people of the aforementioned countries, Erdogan also stressed the significance of Eid Al-Adha to encourage performing good deeds, according to recent information received from Turkish Presidential sources.

During the conversations, Erdogan emphasized their joint efforts to defuse the ongoing crisis in Myanmar as immediately as possible.

The Turkish President also extended Eid greetings to his counterparts in Mauritania, Pakistan, Iran and Qatar on Thursday.
