Fetullah Terror Organization (FETO) ringleader Fetullah Gulen will have his Turkish citizenship revoked if he does not return to Turkey within three months.
The Interior Ministry released a list on Monday of 130 names, all fugitives who are under investigation, who are due to have their Turkish citizenship revoked. The ministry said those on the list had connections to FETO, Daesh and/or the Kurdistan Worker’s Party (PKK).
(Peoples’ Democratic Party) HDP Deputies Faysal Sarıyıldız and Tuğba Hezer and former HDP deputy Özdal Üçer are also on the list.
HDP Van deputy Tuğba Hezer Öztürk and HDP Şırnak deputy Faisal Sarıyıldız will lose the ability to become elected as members of parliament.
If the move is approved by the judiciary, it will become enforced as soon as it is heard in the Turkish Grand National Assembly.
